📌 Before You Start – Important Notes

1. First-Time Setup

Before using the machine for the first time: Hold the pressing plate firmly with one hand and cut the safety strap. After cutting, release the plate slowly to prevent it from springing back or making a loud noise.

2. Design Size – Critical!

The design is cut at 7 cm, but the final visible area of the button is 5.8 cm. Adjust your main design to fit within 5.8 cm to ensure the full image is visible.

3. Cutting the Design

Always use the cutting mat when cutting your design – this protects your work surface from blade scratches.

4. Cutting Direction

Always rotate the cutter clockwise. Rotating counterclockwise can produce uneven or jagged paper edges.

5. Protective Film Options

The kit includes two types of film – adhesive and non-adhesive. Do not use both at the same time. Choose one option only.

💡 Pro Tip for beginners: When using the adhesive film, cut it into smaller pieces first. It's much easier to apply and smooth out without bubbles.

6. Pressing & Spacer Ring

The spacer ring helps create a tighter seal for your button. If you find the press feels loose, add the spacer ring for a more secure fit.

7. Design Alignment

Due to the rotary mechanism, your design may shift slightly during pressing. This is a normal characteristic of all rotary-style machines. For best results, rotate the paper with the design approximately 30° downward before pressing. Test with a practice paper first if needed.

This short guide covers how to use the included Allen key (hex wrench) to tighten the upper mold if it becomes loose.

When to use it

If you notice the upper mold moving or rotating more easily than usual, simply tighten it with the included tool.

Steps

1.Insert the Allen key into the screw on the upper mold.

2.Turn clockwise until it feels firm – do not overtighten.

3.Your machine is now secure and ready to use again.
